The 3 W’s - What Women Want

Isn’t it funny when you change your Facebook status to “what do women want?” how quickly you have a million and one notifications; Joe Bloggs has commented on your status, Jane Doe has commented on your status etc etc.

But the funniest thing is that no response is alike; everybody has a different interpretation of what women want and you suddenly find yourself swimming in a sea of replies:

“Women want respect, status, acknowledgement from their careers, family and friends...they want to feel a sense of accomplishment that would help them feel self-worth. Most of all, they want love”

“We want to be loved, to feel secure in our relationships, to be cared for, given attention to, be respected, see ourselves prosper and finally, to see our children make it in life”

“Someone who really and truly loves them and supports them...gift showering is not excluded”

“Designer bags, shoes and lots of diamonds! That’s the secret!”

“Everything.....especially loads of money!”

“Attention and comfort”

After my last article on FAME which showed that women = problems, I have come to the conclusion that women don’t know what they want. But if you ask me what I think women want, I’d say they want money (cars = money, career = money), a sense of humour (they need to be entertained) and size (I’ll let you use your imagination with that one).

As usual on a night out I decided to run my theory past the guys and find out what they thought. After putting our heads together we have concluded that women simply want different things at different stages of their life...

Aged 18 – 26 women want a man who:

  • is handsome and charming
  • is successful, imaginative and romantic
  • is witty and stylish
  • is in good shape

Aged 27 -33 women want a man who:

  • is not too ugly
  • does not have too much of a receding hairline
  • still has enough money for a nice restaurant
  • laughs at her jokes even if they’re not funny
  • is satisfied with making out once a week

Aged 34 – 42 women want a man who:

  • carries the shopping without complaining
  • nods in agreement to everything
  • remembers to put the toilet seat down
  • a stomach that can still be covered by a shirt

Aged 43 – 52 women want a man who:

  • won’t scratch in public
  • trims the hair in his nose and ears
  • doesn’t tell the same joke over and over
  • won’t fall asleep while she’s talking

Aged 53 – 62 women want a man who:

  • remembers where the bathroom is
  • doesn’t scare children away
  • doesn’t forget why he is laughing
  • is in good enough shape to stand up himself
  • remembers where he left his dentures

Aged 62 + women want a man who...

  • is still breathing!
